************ ROAD CONTRUCTION - ROAD CLOSURES - TRAFFIC DETOURS ************
- 7/8/24 7/19/24 Milling Rt. 85 (daytime schedule) 7am - 5pm
Beginning 7/8, milling and resurfacing operations will begin on Rt. 85 in Montville at the Sachatello Industrial Drive intersection. The operation will travel in a southerly direction during that time, ending at Cross Roads in Waterford on 7/19. There will be no weekend work. The hours of work will be 7:00am to 5:00pm. Expect delays. Please consider an alternate route.
- 7/21/24 - 7/25/24 Resurfacing Rt. 85 (nighttime schedule) 5pm - 5am
- 7/29/24 - 8/02/24 Resurfacing Rt. 85 (daytime schedule) 7am - 5pm
Upon completion of the milling operation, the resurfacing operation will begin with a nighttime schedule on 7/21 from 5pm to 5am at Cross Roads in Waterford traveling in a northerly direction. This portion of the nighttime operation should conclude on 7/25 at Rt. 395 in Waterford. On 7/29, the resurfacing operation will return to a daytime schedule, at Rt. 85 and Rt. 395, traveling in a northerly direction and ending at Sachatello Industrial Drive in Montville on 8/2. The hours of work will be 7am to 5pm. There will be no weekend work. Expect delays. Please consider an alternate route.
6/24 to 7/3 Final Phase lV of the RWCB line replacement project will re-commence, beginning in the area of Palmertown School and progressing to Gay Hill. Work is slated to be completed by Wednesday, 7/3.
6/27 to 7/3 Paving will begin at the Waterford/Montville line and end at Massapeag Rd., ending around 7/3. Work will occur between 6:30am and 5:30pm. Expect delays. No work is planned for the weekends.
7/8 to 7/12 Old Colchester Rd. will be closed to thru traffic between Moxley Rd. and Gay Hill Rd. in the vicinity of #306 due to road construction. Please click here to view the detour route.
